Midsummer Online Writing Getaway - Teacher Registration▼

Teacher Registration:
Midsummer Online Writing Getaway

South Jersey teachers may be eligible to have their districts pay their tuition for the Midsummer Online Writing Getaway. This opportunity is open to educators whose school districts are members of the Southern Regional Institute (SRI + ETTC). If this doesn’t apply to you, register here.

Overview

Murphy Writing of Stockton University Presents
Midsummer Online Writing Getaway
July 7-11, 2021
Online

Learn more about the Midsummer Online Writing Getaway.

Conference Objectives

Participants will:

  • Engage with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards by practicing different types of writing for different purposes and audiences.
  • Choose from creative writing workshops in fiction, memoir, nonfiction or poetry where they will read, write, revise and share their writing.
  • Enjoy challenging and supportive sessions and insightful feedback.
  • Earn PD credit.

Workshops are available for both beginning and experienced creative writers. We firmly believe that every teacher—no matter the grade level or subject—is a teacher of writing, and that teachers who write become better teachers of writing.

South Jersey teachers may be eligible to have their districts pay their tuition when they register with ETTC hours.

How to register using ETTC Hours

1. Check whether your school, college or organization participates in Stockton University’s SRI + ETTC Consortium. View the list of participating schools.

2. Register using ETTC hours by visiting the ETTC workshops website, searching keyword “Getaway” and completing the registration process. Your district will be asked to approve your utilization of ETTC Hours.

3. Once you are approved, email info@murphywriting.com with your 1st and 2nd choice workshops and tell us if you would like to add on a tutorial or other workshop.

If using ETTC hours isn’t an option, you can still register. You can also email info@murphywriting.com to learn about payment plan options.
