Moonstone Arts Center in Philadelphia is celebrating our own Peter E. Murphy by creating an anthology of poems and hosting a poetry reading in his honor. Write a poem about or inspired by Peter and submit it for inclusion in the anthology by September 6th. Then, come out to celebrate with a reading on September 15th and follow Peter afterwards to a Writers’ Happy Hour.

Peter E. Murphy is the author of ten books and chapbooks including two books of writing prompts and Stubborn Child, a finalist for the Paterson Poetry Prize. The founder of Murphy Writing of Stockton University, Peter has received dozens of awards and fellowships and has led hundreds of workshops for writers and teachers.
