Led by Shilo Previti, assisted by Taylor Coyle and Peter E. Murphy
Join us for this brief but intensive workshop held in a computer lab where you will learn to maximize your online experience as a writer and reader. Learn how to:
- Unclutter and manage your inbox so you can easily benefit from listservs such as the Creative Writers Opportunities List, PoetryNJ and others
- Sign up for a free Dropbox account so you can upload, label and safely backup all your files in the cloud
- Learn how Google Drive can help you sort documents and manage spreadsheets to keep track of your writing and submissions
- Use your computer’s Text to Speech feature as a tool to improve your revision process
This is a hands-on workshop where you will receive individual instruction. You must bring your email passwords and a boatload of questions. You may also bring your laptop, flash drive or external memory device with material you want to upload to the Google or Dropbox cloud.
“From the moment we arrived, the tone you set established an extremely supportive environment—enough structure and focus to keep us invested in our work, yet flexible enough to foster creativity and enjoyment. Thank you.“
